There has been an usual sight in our farmyard of late. It has been appearing in the early morning during milking, or walking down the fields beside me to check the Herefords, and I’ve even spotted it from the window of the house down at the slatted shed giving the Friesians a scratch when she thinks no one is watching.

The unusual sight is my mother.
