‘What’s this a going to cost me?” is a question I hear more and more often, but it never fails to stop me in my tracks.
February is one of the tightest months in farming. On suckler farms, there are few or no sales and on dairy farms, it’s been two months since the last decent milk cheque, with the next one another month away at least.
