Sometimes you’d feel that bank holidays were created specifically to help the processors limit the availability of price information.

By the time I had finished my long round of enquiries I was left with this conclusion: while there is a general consensus that factory prices are hardening, some plants continue to insist on quoting up to 10c/kg below what they are actually prepared to pay.
