‘Rubbish’ England blamed for fall in factory quotes for beef

With factory quotes back by 5c/kg for prime stock, and cull cows down 10c/kg, and some plants threatening another 5c/kg cut this week, one agent laid the blame at the feet of the English soccer team.

“Every goal England score at the Euros is worth €12m to the Irish economy in beer and burger sales,” he claimed.
