Celine Dion documentary is at once cloying, heart-rending, unintentionally comic and inspiring

It’s impossible not to love Celine Dion.

Even if you can’t bear that soaring honk and the power ballads that spent most of the Nineties and Noughties on oppressively heavy rotation, her whimsical, sometimes goofy and always humane personality marked her as a different kind of diva.
