Author Kevin Barry: ‘I take cookbooks into bed and slobber over pictures of melty cheese and fat herby sausage’

Kevin Barry’s novels include City of Bohane, Beatlebone and Night Boat to Tangier which was longlisted for the Booker Prize. He also works as a playwright and screenwriter, and he lives in Co Sligo. His latest novel, The Heart in Winter, is available now from Canongate.
