Alex Hill was born in Seattle Washington, and shortly thereafter,
decided he wanted to be a Special Effects man. At the age of 9 he
started experimenting with optical and mechanical effects for a school
movie. Fueled by the admiration of school peers Alex's curiosity for
the illusions used in theater and live shows grew. At the age of 15,
Alex set foot on set for the first time during the production of Ten
Things I Hate About You. At 16, Alex's love for entertainment led him
to open a small all ages nightclub called The Spot. Open only on
weekends, the club was regularly filled to capacity, and showcased such
names as Donald Glaude and DJ Jimmy Hoffa. At 18 he was offered a
special effects job in Los Angeles and has never looked back. He is
living his dream of being a respected Special Effects Man. Alex has
trained under the likes of Richard Huggins and the
world renown 'Reel FX'.
