In private, the children are visited by a ghostly being named Gorgan who imbues them with eerie mental powers and gives them dark instructions.
Gorgan tells the children to take over the Enterprise, which they are able to do by pumping their fists and hypnotizing the crew. Sulu (George Takei) looks at the viewscreen and sees knives and swords. Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) looks in a mirror and sees...

When I read this headline today I knew it was going to upset me, but I kept on reading anyway. It wasn’t long before I knew I’d have to vent, and what better place than in our ongoing rant column, Beyond Wrong.
The headline was “Expect The Unexpected In The New Season Of MTV’S “The Real World: Cancun” Premiering On June 24 At 10:00Pm Et/Pt” and was released by MTV. Before you continue reading, I warn you, I am not a fan.
I can only imagine that the casting call ad must read something like this: “Wanted; 8 college aged dumb-asses to live in a rent free house, get drunk and humiliate themselves in front of a national audience. Drunks, angry black men, whores and token gays will get first preference.”
Does anyone remember when the Real World was actually a group of interesting kid’s...
