The Schaumburg Township District Library serves the approximately 130,000 residents of Schaumburg Township and parts of Hanover Park, Streamwood, Elk Grove Village, and Hoffman Estates. Schaumburg Township District Library provides for the enrichment of their community with a wide range of resources that include local newspapers, a digital archive of historic photos, videos, maps and more from the area; employment resources and local genealogy. Beyond a wide range of materials to read, listen to, and watch, the library’s Library of Things include games, toys, bike locks, microscopes, wi-fi hotspots and even a theremin. The library also offers passes to local museums, and events that include storytimes in English, Ukrainian and Polish, game nights, nature walks, LEGO challenges, citizenship classes, music recording and production for teens, tech classes, 3D printing, art classes, chess and more.
