Know What's Available to Members

If you've exhausted your Unemployment Benefits and are on the Available for Work List, then you may be eligible for this program. You must be available for work, bring proof of exhausted benefits and appear in person at the Executive Board Meeting on Thursdays starting at 4pm at 1719 Spring Garden St.

January 22nd Amendment

If you've been on the Available for work list and are short working hours for your Health Benefits (You must meet all criteria in the health and welfare handbook) you can apply for this benefit. If the Health and Welfare Trusties approve the program for that quarter, notifications will be sent by the Business Office on when and where to apply in person.

Short Term Disability

If you’ve been hurt outside of work and need to miss time from work, you may be eligible to apply for this program. This program covers our members continued health benefits and pays them $500 per week. You must apply with Vaccaro Associates and the Financial Office.

Dues Protection

If you fall on hard times, your dues are up to date, but you can’t afford your dues payment for the next quarter, you may be eligible for dues protection. You can apply at the financial office.

Leave of Absence (Shelving Your Ticket)

If you need time away from the Business, you can continue to pay your Union Dues or you can Shelf your ticket. You would need to appear in person at the Executive Board Meeting on Thursdays starting at 4pm at 1719 Spring Garden St.
