In development since October 2019 and successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2021 (in less than 36 hours!) to help Stairway continue building the game with community involvement, Coral Island is now at a point where the team is ready to invite the wider world to experience what they’re creating. All About Island Living
In Coral Island, players will build their own dream farm, deciding what to build, what crops to grow, and which animals you’d like to tend. How you play is up to you: you can spend your days exploring, or try to find that special someone in town to build a life together. You can strive to save the seas, or focus on perfecting your farm. You can also be who you want to be, choosing from a wide variety of outfits, accessories, and physiques to express yourself.
A vibrant and diverse cast of more than 70 characters from all walks of life live on Coral Island with you, and over the course of your journey, you can converse with them, find out more about their interests, and try to impress them with just the right gift. And if you’re looking to find that special someone to build a life with, 25 inhabitants are also out there looking to make a lasting connection.
The island itself is alive with activities. You’ll be able to take part in community projects to liven up the town, expand the local museum, and discover how to restore heritage sites. You can engage in activities like hunting for insects and catching fish, go diving to restore the island’s coral reef, or mine precious gemstones in the cavern—there’s lots waiting to discover in Early Access and beyond.
