Amazon Prime Day is just around the corner, but that hasn’t stopped other retailers from kicking off their own July sales events. Target Circle Week started on Sunday, while Walmart launched its Summer Deals event just yesterday. And although all three retail giants are slashing prices off thousands of items this month, Walmart is debatably offering the best deal we’ve seen so far: 50% off a Walmart+ membership. Typically $12.95 monthly or $98 annually, you can sign up for only $6.47 per month or $49 for the year through July 18.
For the uninitiated, Walmart+ is a service that offers exclusive benefits for its members, like no-minimum free shipping, free delivery on groceries and local in-store items (sometimes same-day, depending on your store), a free subscription to Paramount+, early access to sales events like Black Friday and summer deals, savings of up to 10 cents per gallon on fuel, free at-home returns and much, much more. The bottom line: This deal will save you big in the long run.
In addition to free shipping, grocery delivery and at-home returns, Walmart+ also gets you access to auto care benefits, like free flat repair and a waived tire warranty if you purchase tires at a local Walmart auto center. If you download the Walmart app, you can also use its mobile scan-and-go program, which lets you check out while shopping, so you don’t have to wait at a checkout line. Lastly, Walmart+ also has special limited-time offers for its members as a bonus benefit, including discounts on other subscription services like up to five months free of Apple Music or six months of SiriusXM Radio.
