Welcome to the public site for the storm debris collections progress map. Trucks are actively working to remove debris from curbside and public rights-of-way. Below, you will find a map displaying the hauling progress by collection zone. Use the magnifying glass icon in the upper right-hand corner of the map to search for an address. Zone progress is updated nightly at 8:00 PM.
  • 1st Pass in Progress- Hauling trucks are currently working on their first round of hauling in the zone (yellow)
  • 1st Pass Complete- Hauling trucks have finished the first round of hauling in the zone (green)
  • Remaining- Hauling trucks have not started (gray)

Changes to Yard Waste Curbside Collection

Houstonians have new options to make yard waste disposal easier and more convenient. Effective immediately, City-approved biodegradable bags bearing the City seal are no longer required. Residents now have the options to use any 100% biodegradable bag (or compostable bag) meeting the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D64 Direc00 or EN 13432 specifications, or a personal container with a lid.

Expansion Of The All-Plastics Program

The City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD), in partnership with Cyclyx, ExxonMobil, and LyondellBasell, is excited to announce the expansion of the All-Plastics acceptance program at all six Neighborhood Depositories drop-off centers starting on April 16, 2024.
