The critically acclaimed and fan-favorite television show The Bear is finally back with season three after sweeping most of the major awards categories last year. But with the return of 10 angst-ridden episodes, everyone watching is back to having major kitchen envy of the Michelin-star restaurants featured in those episodes. From the Copenhagen gardens of NOMA to the sprawling square footage of Daniel in New York City, we're itching to find any tools to bring that level of chic efficiency to our home kitchens. While we've bought the quart containers and the green painter's tape, one thing that's remained elusive is the actual cookware they use. But we found it, and The Bear's Made In cookware is available on Amazon!
The butter warmer, a 3/4 quart-sized pot, is featured heavily in The Bear's season three, episode one. The brand states that, while it was specifically designed to melt, brown, and infuse butter, this pan is also an expert tool for reducing sauces and reheating liquids. The pans also include Chef Sydney's essential element of any good pan, a layered construction. There are five layers of metals, to be exact, a mix of stainless and coated steel, to allow for the most even heat conduction and distribution. The rolled rim may look simple, but it was formed to pour hot liquids without the dreaded spilling or sticking to the pot's sides.
Carmy, and the entire Bear crew, aren't known for their even tempers and level heads, so whatever cookware they use must withstand throwing, burning, and slamming onto the stove—all of which Made In's durable construction was made for. As for the pans, those are aluminum core and stainless steel from All Clad. In search of more culinary finds from The Bear? Don't worry, we have the enviable ceramic tableware they use for serving too.
