Bharucha and Chorge, who had purchased flats in “Breezy Corner”, developed by SSO, in Kandivali (West), had filed complaints in 2009 after the property developer refused to provide space for parking of their vehicles inside the residential complex.

Real estate developers resort to layoffs, pay cuts as Covid-19 hits sales

As per estimates by MyHiringClub.com and Sarkari-Naukri.info, around two lakh employees (including the white-collared) in the real estate sector are expected to be laid off due to the coronavirus crisis.

A report by non-broking real estate research firm Liases Foras said that for each month of the lockdown, there is a revenue loss of 8.3 percent.(HT File)

Office space leasing may fall 30% in 2020 due to Covid-19: JLL India CEO

Noida extends date for rescheduling of land dues for developers

The authority’s finance controller, Sudhir Singh, has issued an order asking developers to take benefit of this opportunity to reschedule their outstanding amount as per rules and start paying pending dues.

75,000 migrant workers, who returned to UP during lockdown, sign up for real estate projects

The state unit of National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) had, on May 29, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh government to provide employment to 2.5 lakh migrant workers who had returned to the state.
