A WINCHESTER woman has been given a suspended sentence for stealing from a shop.
Sharon Caudill, 44, of Trussell Crescent, Weeke, stole baby products worth £109.99 from Boots in Clacton on Sea in Essex on April 24, 2023, a court heard.
Appearing at Wrexham Magistrates' Court on July 1, Caudill pleaded guilty to the offence, as well as two offences of failing to attend court - once on June 7, 2023 and again on June 17, 2024.
Magistrates gave her a suspended sentence of eight weeks, with an 18-month supervision period.
Caudill must also complete 100 hours of unpaid work and participate in activities required by a responsible officer for up to a maximum of 15 days.
