Staff at Hillier Gardens near Romsey will be taking part in an art exhibition this week.

Instead of staying behind their tills, visitor services staff will be showcasing their hidden talents in art and photography, in a week-long exhibition titled 'Artists At Work'.

Visitors to the Ampfield attraction will be invited to cast their vote for their favourite piece.

The event, which starts on July 1, will host more than 60 pieces of photography and art in an array of formats.

The visitor services team, consisting of Brian Whittaker, Linda Penny and Ted Hepenstal from the previous year's launch, have welcomed newcomers Anna Stiling and Rebecca Axton to the group.

As a nod to the general election, visitors to the exhibition can participate in an alternative style of voting.

Instead of casting votes for political candidates, they can choose their favourite piece of art.

The winning piece will be announced on the closing day of the exhibit on Sunday, July 7.

Admission to the exhibition and voting is free of charge and a café will be open for visitors.
