Hundreds of people flocked to the Guildhall today as a vintage wholesaler took over the hall.

On Sunday, June 16, Worth The Weight visited Winchester, bringing in a variety of clothes for all genders and ages to try on and weigh before buying.

Hundreds attended the event in Winchester, taking advantage of the offer to buy a kilo of clothing for £20 - regardless of the actual cost of the items. There is no minimum spend and no minimum weight limit required for items.

Event and warehouse manager, Chris Davies, said: "Winchester is one of our regular locations on the map and one of our favourites too. It's great to see it so busy and we always get such a friendly crowd here. Today we've had a lot of people who love their vintage clothing.

"We have lots of young people in today buying a variety of different gear, with branded stuff included too.

"Winchester and the Guildhall has always made us feel very welcome, so we love coming here and showing off what we have on offer. We tend to come back once every six weeks to two months, so next time we're in the area come give us a try."

Worth The Weight started in 2018 and first visited Winchester in the same year, with the Guildhall being a regular stopping point for the business.
