Kingfishers Colden Common Preschool celebrated its 50th birthday with a new name and logo, also unveiling exciting future plans at a grand party.

Now known as Kingfishers Preschool, the school, which has an emphasis on outdoor learning, offers a large all-weather garden and allotment school sessions.

Attended by families, the celebration was lively with Benny Balloon entertaining the crowd.

The 50-year milestone reflects the staff's commitment and community support.

With high enrolment rates for September, Kingfishers Preschool is looking ahead to more progress and child enrichment in the upcoming six months.

Former Winchester MP Steve Brine was unable to attend but sent a heartfelt message. 

He said: "I was sad to be unable to attend Kingfishers Colden Common Preschool's 50th birthday celebration but would like to send my congratulations to the entire team and wider community who ensure this preschool remains such a success. They are inspiring the next generation."
