Prior to the 10K, the runners took part in a warm-up led by Fitstate, with local businesses Alexandra Sports and Physiotherapy and Wellness offering support and advice to all participants.

The day continued with the fete, with visitors exploring stalls and taking part in games in the sunshine while music was provided by local band Hot Rabbit.

The headline sponsor for the event was Charters, with other local businesses lending their support including Rathbones, Veolia and Sam Gavins Photography. The final amount raised will be announced soon, with all proceeds from the day going to support Compton School.
