Mission

The mission of GBAPP is to serve the Greater Bridgeport community through education, collaboration, and intervention by empowering individuals to make infromed decisions by: reducing teen pregnancy, reducing the spread of HIV, increasing access to care, enhancing positive relationships, strengthening a culture of personal responsibility, and advocating for a healthy community.

1. MI CASA/MY Home --supportive housing for homeless pregnant adolescents.2. Life Choices Project --after-school program to reduce teen pregnancy among youth ages 11-14.3. Sisters and Brothers Prevention Program --provide HIV prevention services to minority adolescents and young people ages 15-29.4. BPT program --provide HIV, substance abuse, and mental health services to minority youth ages 12-17.5. Faith-Based Linkage Project --support faith leaders in the areas of substance abuse and HIV/AIDS.6. Women's and Men's Health Project --provide case management services to HIV infected girls,women,and men.7. Teen Fathers Program--provides services to 60 teen dads, teen moms, and their children.8. Housing for Success-- provides supportive housing for parenting and non-parenting girls ages 16-21.9. NIA Alliance--develops a network of women dedicated to learning about and responding to the growing HIV epidemic among women of color.
