Free frosty with purchase of a $5 'Biggie Bag' at Wendy's this weekend. With one catch

With the arrival of National Ice Cream Month in July, plus the looming National Ice Cream Day on July 21, Wendy's is offering certain sweet treats for free.

The chain's signature frozen dessert now comes in a few new flavors, besides the usual chocolate and vanilla—and this weekend, you can get them as a free side to certain Wendy's products.

According to a press release, from now through July 7, Wendy's locations nationwide will offer "a free small Frosty with the purchase of a $5 Biggie Bag."

How do I get the Wendy's deal?

The second condition to the deal is that only Biggie Bags purchased through the Wendy's app will receive one small Frosty free of charge. Orders made in person are not eligible for the freebie.

Is there a new Frosty flavor?

Wendy's recently announced the arrival of its second new Frosty flavor this year, Triple Berry. The brand said the new flavor "combines three of the freshest fruit flavors of the season—strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry."

"The Triple Berry Frosty is the next iteration of summertime Frosty innovation, combining three fruit flavors into one bright and beautiful Frosty," Global Vice President of Culinary Innovation at The Wendy's Company John Li, stated in a news release. "A spoonful of this Frosty is like walking through the farmers market in the middle of summer and sampling fresh berry preserves."

What Frosty flavors does Wendy have right now?

In addition to the Triple Berry Frosty, Wendy's is serving their original Chocolate Frosty and the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty, another new flavor this year. The Vanilla Frosty is currently off the menu, but Wendy's says it will return later in 2024.

What's in a 'Biggie Bag?'

The "Biggie Bag" features a choice of a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger or Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a four-piece nugget, one Jr. fries, and a small soft drink.
