The city of Spartanburg presented the annual Red, White & Boom Fourth of July celebration at Barnet Park on Thursday.

At Spartanburg's annual Red, White & Boom celebration at Barnet Park, America was honored. The day was filled with music and events throughout Spartanburg, and the night ended with fireworks over Barnet Park after dark.

United States Air Force veteran Susan A Gault of American Legion Spartanburg Post 28 takes part in the service to honor veterans service in the military.

United States Air Force Veteran Susan Gault of American Legion Spartanburg Post 28 said, "The U.S. Air Force shaped who I am as an American. I love this country and was proud of my service to it."
