After enjoying the Fourth of July holiday with family and friends, you can attend plenty of activities in the Upstate this weekend.

Whether you prefer to beat the heat by attending an indoor event or enjoying the outdoor weather, the Upstate has something everyone can enjoy, from live performances to farmers' markets and family-friendly events.

Here are some events taking place in the Upstate this weekend.

Greenville County

Southeast Game Exchange

On Friday, July 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continuing on Saturday, July 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Southeast Game Exchange, located at 1 Exposition Drive, is hosting an event featuring voice actors Nolan North (Nathan Drake), Jason Griffith (Sonic the Hedgehog), Josh Keaton (Revolver Ocelot), Lisa Ortiz (Amy Rose), and many others.

A single-day pass is $15 online and $20 at the door. Two-day passes are $25 online and $30 at the door. A two-day VIP pass is $80; only 250 slots are available. Children 5 and under are admitted for free.

Travelers Rest Farmers Market

Travelers Rest Farmers Market will occur at 235 Trailblazer Drive on Saturday, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

It will feature over 85 local vendors, live music, food trucks, free kids' activities, and more.

Products include meats, vegetables, fruit, breads, cheeses, pastries, soaps, candles, and more.

Purple Cup Coffee Company re-opening

Purple Cup Coffee Company, located at 25 Delano Drive Unit D, will reopen in downtown Greenville on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. outside Southernside Brewery.

In honor of their re-opening, there will be a BOGO 50% off sale on all menu items.

Annual golf cart parade sponsored by Garrett's Golf Carts

Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce's 1st Annual Golf Cart Parade, hosted by Garrett's Golf Carts, will be held on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at PD Terry Park at 116 Cannon Ave.

The event will feature a live DJ and a Food Truck Rodeo for entertainment.

$10 entry fee for parade only; must be a registered Golf Cart or LSV.

Greenville FCU Main Street Party

The Greenville FCU Main Street Friday event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at NOMA Square, 220 N Main St.

The event features local bands playing two sets and tailgating, so bring a chair.

Summer Sip and Paint Flamingo with MJ King

Enjoy a Sip and Paint event with MJ King at Elevation 966 Winery at 301 Airport Road, Suite H, on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

MJ King is a talented local artist. Her paintings are displayed on the winery walls and in local art galleries. She creates various artwork, from wine glasses to pet portraits and commission pieces.

All supplies are included. MJ lightly pre-sketches the canvases for you, making it easy for you to follow along.

Community Blood Drive

Help the Greenville Drive and The Blood Connection save lives at home by donating blood during a community blood drive at Fluor Field, located at 945 S Main St., on Friday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

All donors will receive a voucher for two tickets to a Drive game this season, $50 in TBC rewards (you can trade it in for an e-gift card to your favorite retailer), and a Freedom Week T-shirt.

Tyger River Park Walk in Duncan

The Girls Who Walk organization will host a free walking event on Sunday, July 7, at 10:30 a.m. at Tyger River Park, 179 Dillard Road, Duncan.

Whether you're a seasoned walker or just starting, consider joining this event to enjoy nature and get some exercise.

Spartanburg County

Live performance at Ground Zero

Local bands Slaughter the Masses, Masquerade, Rising Regime, and Jest will perform on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Ground Zero Rock Club, 3052 Howard St.

General admission is $10.

Fretwell is a new gathering spot located just off of the Mary Black Rail Trail in Spartanburg. The green space is the new home for Little River Roasting Co. and its new cafe, The Spartan concession window shop, and a weekly Hub City Farmers Market. Live performance at Fretwell

Don't forget about the gathering at the Fretwell gathering spot at 101 Fretwell St.

They will host the Smokey Beans Band, a father-son duo that plays mountain-style adaptations of songs from the '60s, '70s, and more.

The free event is scheduled for Friday, July 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Live performance at Rockers Brewing Company

Local band Hammock Theory will perform on Friday, July 5, at 6:30 p.m. at Rockers Brewing Company at 226 A W Main St.

Hammock Theory is an improvisational trio band based in Greenville. The band draws inspiration from funk, rock, reggae, and jazz.

Rockers Brewing Company is a microbrewery founded in 1997 in Spartanburg. The bar specializes in hand-crafted beers.

Charm Girl and Cupcake Diva Pageant

A Charm Girl and Cupcake Diva Pagent will occur on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Marriott, located at 299 N Church St.

Karaoke night

Ciclops Cyderi and Brewery, located at 197 E. Saint John St., hosts a Karaoke Night on Saturday from 8 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.

Anderson County

Live Music: Mojo On Max

Mojo On Max will perform on Friday, July 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the courtyard of Magnetic South Brewery, located at 516 N. Main St. in Anderson.

Mojo on the Max is a band of siblings from Anderson specializing in a blend of blues, funk, folk, soul, rock 'n' roll, jazz, and country music.

At Magnetic South Brewery, customers can enjoy craft beer, great food, and a captivating atmosphere.

Kris Anderson live

Kris Anderson, a guitar instructor, performer, session musician, and songwriter, will perform on Friday, July 5, at 7 p.m. at the Growler Haus Pub at 313 N. Main St.

Whether you're a beer enthusiast, a foodie, or want to see live entertainment, consider visiting the pub.

On July 6, in honor of Nathan's Hotdog Eating Contest, The Pub is hosting a Haus Hotdog Eating Contest.

Can you eat the most hotdogs in 10 minutes? The entry fee is $10. The winner will receive half of the pot, while the other half will go to A.I.M.

Sunset Yoga in the Park

Anderson Yoga Center is hosting a Yoga Class in Carolina Wren Park in Downtown Anderson at 111 E Whitner St., starting at 7 p.m.

Belton Farmers Market

Are you looking for a family-friendly event? Visit the Belton Farmers Market on Lewis Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Local vendors will be on-site, providing various healthy, homemade, or homegrown products and services.

Live performance at AJ Bar and Grill

Local band In Kahoots will perform on Friday at 8 p.m. at AJ Bar and Grill at 101 Destination Blvd.

The band plays Southern Rock, blues, and country music.

The bar and grill have selected food and drink options for customers.

Trivia Night: Palmetto Distillery

The Palmetto Distillery, located at 200 W. Benson St., Anderson, hosts a trivia night on Saturday, July 6, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Test your knowledge of pop culture trivia in movies, music, sports, and TV.

There will be six rounds with multiple-choice questions, musical hints, and bonus rounds.Show up early to catch the happy hour special of $2 beers + $10 buckets from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Poor Man's Burgers will be on site for dinner.

Live performance at Louies

The Southern Traditional Band will perform at Louies Bar at 100 Electric City Boulevard from 8 p.m. to midnight.

The band specializes in country and rock 'n; roll music. Southern Traditional Band is known for its high-energy live shows and catchy melodies.

Louies Bar has selected American food options and beverages for customers.
