The battery life is supreme so you shouldn't run out mid-shave and a powerful motor makes for one of our favourite new gadgets of 2023.

I loved using the Multishape to cultivate certain areas of my body without discomfort or painful cuts, though be warned, the motor is the same across all tasks, and I had to tread carefully when heading below the belt. However, chests, bellys and backs are a breezy task to complete.

Make no mistake — this is a trimmer you'll be proud to display on the side of the tub (rather than stash away in a cabinet).

While the included foil shaver, nose trimmer and power trimmer have your face well covered, it's the 15-in-1 device's precision trimmer functionality that shines brightest. Using Babyliss' signature Japanese steel blades, two of its total eleven click-on comb guides will prove plenty to tackle hair at every sprouting, letting you choose from a large selection of different lengths to suit your needs. Like any gadget of this ilk, you get what you pay for, but Remington’s offering could be just the ticket if your body hair grooming is only a more occasional self-care activity. Sure, its basic design won't stir up any strong feelings of design enthusiasm, but given its purpose, I can easily forgive it for its more basic looks, especially as it delivers where it matters most. Its 60 minutes of use per charge isn't too shabby either.
