52 for 52 weeks in a year. I'll probably increase the total when I surpass it.

I'm actually not a fast reader, really. I've been reading kids books with my niece and shorter things lately. Plus all the audiobooks I go through make it seem like I'm a speed-reader.

I'm thinking about adding those religious tract pamphlets, you know, those ones that Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses jam in your door when you're hiding from them behind the sofa.

It's all rather arbitrary. My true annual goal is always 52, because I figure one book a week is doable. But the last couple years I've been reaching that goal in June, so then I up it to 100.
