The last two weeks of 2023 was dedicated to reading books of my choice. One of them was Simu Liu’s memoir, We Were Dreamers. Now, I have watched only half of Shang Chi but even that left a lasting impression on me because of Simu’s performance. But after reading this incredibly sweet and inspiring memoir, I’m convinced that there’s nothing he cannot do.
