Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

aimee (aimeecanread)’s first review of the year

it was ok
This one wasn't bad, but it was just... extremely underwhelming. I loved the world-building and the insane amount of imagination that clearly went into this one, but there was just something kind of dry about the way the characters were written. ...more

it was amazing
2023 December: Feeling insane that I gave this book 3 stars after reading it twice (once as a 12-year-old, and again as a 16-year-old), and then now bumping it up to a 5-star as a 24-year-old. This book is one of the rare ones that just gets better with age.

And yeah, I'm still desperately hoping for Suzanne Collins to pull a Stephenie Meyer and re-write this entire series from Peeta's POV.
