it was amazing
This was a delightfully fluffy romp back in a favorite, cozy fantasy world. It felt wonderful being reconnected with Elisabeth, Nathaniel, and Silas under low stakes and mysterious circumstances. My only gripe is that I needed more! No spoilers, but the ending leaves things open with Silas and I’m hoping this means even more tales in this beloved setting to settle old scores. I'm thrilled with the influx of cozy mysteries that are being crafted to target a younger audience! That's not to say that Killer Chardonnay is by any means unappealing for the typical cozy generation, but it is refreshing reading some hip millennial references thrown into the mix. I thoroughly enjoyed learning a bit more about wine in general, and I clung to the fact that a reader can indeed have a feel good, light-heart
