The last vestiges of mankind travel in an ark ship towards a seed planet hoping to discover salvation in the form of a new Eden to populate. But a pervious generation's science experiment, using a generative virus meant to sped up the evolutionary process, has failed its objective and instead infested the planet with a wholly unexpected new race, one that doesn't necessarily want them there.
