2024 Million Pages Challenge
D! 14,000, that's amazing.
The annoying thing is that I once went on a speed-reading course. I remember doing well and thinking this was a time-saver that would last a lifetime. Huh! It's great for business things but with well-written books I prefer to savour, not quite every word, but at least to grasp the plot and enjoy the characters and good turns of phrase and the rhythm, etc. Hence I never get to read hardly any books at all! Daft.

I've just joined the group and this looks like fun! I'll join in. (For last year, GR says I read 75,802 pages (300 books). We'll see how this year goes. 😊)
