Have you ever heard of a writer’s journal? Well, let me give you a quick introduction to one. A writer’s journal is a writer’s best friend, especially when writer’s block hits. It contains all sorts of tips and tricks, and is the catch all for those little ideas you jot down onto scraps of paper that tend to get lost. Everyone’s journal is different, because it is supposed to be personal and specific to you, so there is no “right” way to do one. Some like to have an area for their current work where they can brainstorm, draw character sketches, paste in pictures they have found online, etc. Others just like to have one to help keep the creativity flowing and they write in theirs everyday!
So, that said, this folder is full of material to help get your writer’s journal together or give you a reference source if you aren’t quite sure about making a journal yet. This folder will continually be a work in progress, so feel free to add things, maybe that you have in your journal, (as long as they don’t belong elsewhere), labeling your topics as specifically as possible.
