These book are a shame to literature. One day, I can only hope and pray, this Saga will be laughed at in sheer disgust and mocked, and all who said that it was the "best and most romantic book ever" will be mocked as well. If your looking for gushy, teenager romance junk, than these are the books for you. If you want something truly romantic, characters that actually have personalities, and a plot that dousnt make you cringe and want to stab yourself, than don't even glance at these "books". It saddens me how so many love them, and makes me wonder why the world's taste has suddenly become so low that we result to reading and loving trash instead of the true works of art and literary masterpieces which have changed life. I would rather eat dirt than recommend these to anyone, and let me just tell you (scowls at her rashness which she is unable to hold back) you have absolutely NO taste in books and have not even read good books if you give this book more than one star. Sorry if this upset you terribly: but I must tell you all the truth and hope that you will turn to GOOD books one day.

Isabel Arami I truly agree with you. I think that people have grown so used to bad plots from watching so many soap operas that they only focus on the cheesy romance and think that a 'good plot' is too confusing and difficult to follow

message 2: by Rose (new)

Rose I agree with both of you. The "Twilight" series should not be read, it should be used as a substitute for firewood and/or toilet paper. The characters are loosely constructed and as shallow as Stephenie Meyer must be herself. There is no plot and Bella's infatuation with Edward is pathetic, sickening and ridiculous. I could continue ranting for hours...

Megan Norton :( :( :( you are horrible hannah.

message 4: by Michael (new)

Michael Edwards I love you.

Jessica It's called an imagination... Maybe you should get one..... Of course it's a mushy love story, but who wants to read about everyday life? I read to get an escape from the boring everyday BS.

Michelle Get over yourself and enjoy life already! Not everything has to so serious. This series was meant for teenagers and was meant to be a fun easy read so leave it at that!

message 7: by Kendra (new)

Kendra Just out of sheer curiosity, could you give an example of a good romance novel? I'm not asking for a challenge or anything, I just want to know a better romance than Twilight.

message 8: by Emily (new)

Emily Liu @Kendra: I would consider Dracula a romance. Sure it's not "love love conflict love yay!" romance, but it has hints of romance in it. It's dark though... because it's Dracula.

Diana Zara I think two kinds of readers exists: the ones who appreciate this “literature” and the ones who read really good writers. You can’t even start to explain to them how bad these “books” are, because they are the kind of people who find Keeping up with the Kardashians a good entertainment. I personally can’t have a conversation with these humans, and you know what? At each his own kind of books/movies/tv series…. It’s like trying to make someone understand that Love Island is not only trash but completely staged, and they would answer that they are not LOL

ellie (aragorn’s version) (free palestine) lol how everyone in the comments is all “it’s for teenagers, get over yourself…” I’m a teen, read this, and hated it. Of course, I’ve also read profusely as well as done a lot of studying and taken classes on writing, so people who don’t have examples of better writing might not understand how terrible this really is.
