“Nothing More Dangerous”, (book 1 of Boady Sanden series), by Allen Eskens

Goodness… what a book!
The writing was simple but lovely but the storytelling was formidable!
So much heart!
A terrific drama set in a small town.
The main topic is racism.
There is nothing new or remarkable in the storyline, which was kind of predictable, but it was enthralling and I did not want to put it down.
The pacing was very smooth but gripping, and I thought that I was reading a book directed to young adults, until there was an explosion of violence.
This was my 9th book by this author, who has been very consistent with his style.
I’m so looking forward to reading the next book in this series, “Saving Emma”.
