After That Night (Will Trent, #11)

A young woman is brought into the ER while Sara Linton is covering for a colleague. She has been in a car crash and has suffered serious injuries, but before she dies, she tells Sara she was raped. Years later, Sara is told her own attack is related to the victim she treated.
Coming straight after The Silent Wife, this story finds Faith, Will and Sara unofficially investigating a group of powerful men who may be implicated in the rape.
This, as always, is a provocative and emotional story. The characters - some of whom have been sustained and grown through seventeen plus stories (Grant County as well as the Will Trent series), are well-rounded and refined, layered with distinctive traits and qualities. Will is as endearing and clever as ever; Sara - mocked as Saint Sara - shows her loving, yet not saintly, personality; Faith is becoming more like a friend. This raises so many questions, and you will need someone you can vent to when you read some of the appalling facts.
Brilliant.
