it was amazing

bookshelves: childrens, picture-book

A nice little slice of life before smartphones, but still feels relatable. A young child gets a quarter each day for emergencies. He dutifully saves the quarters, even through various temptations. But on Friday, he meets one temptation he may not be able to resist. I loved the little twist - very charming and endearing.
