Adam Grant's book seemed to be just another success book until I read and I agree that character development matters. A person can achieve great things if they acquire they have the willingness to work hard, be prosocial, and some determination. Making this happen according to Adam Grant requires an investment in education that this country may be unwilling to do. Many in America want to have a better future but don't want to spend money on it and a major sea change would worry the educational establishment. The plan is sound but where is the will to do it?
