The excellent audiobook narrator of this book deserved a better story.
As a "fan" of Netflix reality TV, I had high hopes from this one. A show that is a mix of 'Perfect Match' and 'The Ultimatum' has a lot of dramatic potential in theory. Instead of fully exploiting this ripe-for-bitchery premise, the story turns into a survival thriller, which, while being thoroughly engaging (mostly thanks to the writing and an excellent narrator), had nothing much to offer. A random episode of 'Perfect Match' has more twists and turns than this book does.
