Is this a 500 page slow burn? Yes. Is it brilliant? Also yes. I never miss a Tana French book because she is SO GOOD. But I'm one of the people who thought The Witch Elm was unputdownable, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. If you are looking for nonstop action and twists, this is not that book. But Tana French is. SO. GOOD.

I LOVE her books…beautifully written, meaty and suspenseful. Finished The Hunter last week and I’m back to reading In The Woods and then The Likeness. I always recommend her books to people when they see me reading one. She is a fantastic author!
I have been obsessed with Tana French since the first chapter of the first book. I loved The Seekers and can't wait to read this one!
