ᴛʜɪs ʙᴏᴏᴋ ᴡᴀs ᴀ ʙᴇᴀᴜᴛɪғᴜʟ, ᴍᴀɢɪᴄᴀʟ, ʜᴇᴀʀᴛʙʀᴇᴀᴋɪɴɢ ʀᴇᴀᴅ. I was completely thrown straight into the world from the first page, and it completely took over my life until I finished the last line. (Finishing very late into the night, too😂)

“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦. 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘢𝘴𝘬 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵.”

The story follows Ornella and Nicholas, both from different ruling Fae kingdoms, who have been connected ever since they were young. The story is filled with secrets, lies, betrayals, love, friendship, and just some of the most fantastic world building that I've read to date. (There also best be more books coming within this world, Mel!)

I loved reading Ornella becoming stronger, figuring out who she was, but my god did my heart break for her, there was so many times I just wished I could give her a hug. She truly went through so much, and I'm so happy with how it ended for her. Then we have Nicholas, he means well but sometimes he really doesn't do the right thing. But even when I wanted to throw something at him (thank god he's not real for me to actually do it), he was still just so lovable.

“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘺 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭,”

If you're looking for a beautifully written, dark gothic fantasy romance - then look no further. This book will capture you and not let you go.
