Death at Morning House

When a date ends up in a house fire, carrying on in the same town is difficult. Fortunate to land a summer job, she hops on the island, excited for a fresh start at Morning House. But often horrors are disguised in the form of opportunities and Marlowe is just beginning to uncover the dark secrets of this place. May what is buried, come to light!
The storyline is well-written with dynamic pacing that confronts the plot from the views of the helpers of the house. For a majority of the time, we are observing the events happening as a 3rd party between past and present - which I feel works better in reading but not in audiobooks. Sparking with lively characters in a contemporary world, the author has given us yet another murder mystery spanning over decades.
