This book was hard to get into at first and I thought I would have a hard time finishing. When the character Ruth was introduced I felt the author softened up her tone and it became easier to read. I would have loved a whole book about Ruth. I felt there was so much more to explore there.

Like other reviewers this book was meant to portray the women in a positive light and that came across completely. You walk away wishing these murders hadn’t happened and that these women got to live full and productive lives.
