Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers (Vera Wong, #1)
by
The book wrapped up in a surprisingly satisfying way, but boy it took a long time to get there, despite being a quick read.
The book was just too childish for me, with little depth. I don’t think this author is really for me.
She also clearly has no concept of what a 2.5 year old or a 60 year old is like (I was surprised to learn she had children). Reading her descriptions and their behavior, you’d think Vera was around 75 and Emma was around 5 years old. Maybe not even mention their ages and f you’re going to get it so wrong, let the reader decide how old they might be.
