it was amazing
bookshelves: 2023

I read this in one day, and for some reason I didn’t expect to like it. I sometimes feel The Rabbit Room is just a tad bit self-conscious but I have never felt that way about Andrew Peterson. And this book hit all the things I really care about-Tennessee, Florida, trees, walking, footpaths, flowers, literature, poetry. Painfully honest and thoughtful.

Christina Baehr Ooooh, good!

Nicole I recently read Adorning the Dark and really liked it! Looking forward to reading this one soon.

Gail Oh, I loved this book so much. And I wanted to read all the books he references too. :-)

Allison I love the Rabbit Room because of Andrew, because I have always known him to be honest and genuine and un-self assuming. (He will deny it but I’ve heard him sing a silly song about a booger….long before his kids albums.) But he also manages to infuse his topics with humor and warmth no matter what he writes about. I love both this and Adorning the Dark and plan to make them regular reads, to remind me why I do what I do.

Nicole I absolutely loved this one! What a beautiful book.
