The book is way better than the show on HBO. In my opinion, the show doesn't do a good job at depicting the book - and then ending of the show is terrible. If I hadn't read the book, I wouldn't have understood it at all.

OMG this book made me reconnect with reading in the best way!! although “fun” and “sharp objects” don’t exactly go together, it completely reminded me how fulfilling and amazing reading for fun feels when you’ve found your book ☺️ I’ve still been reading and have enjoyed so many more books since, so sharp objects and gillian flynn will always hold a special place in my heart 💗💗
