it was ok

I need to stop reading books from the "best of" list. Why is this even in the horror genre? I do not understand the hype for this book. It was nothing like Mexican Gothic. This book is slow and really contrived. How can you make a witch priest story so boring? The love story is a snore fest and the ending, who cares? Honestly.. Who even cares?
