Ok, so this was not at all what I was expecting. We are not following one couple per book, instead, we alternate between points of view every chapter, both reoccurring main characters, and the occasional one off of a side character. Trigger warnings for violence and rape. This is literally the first part of the story, not a stand-alone. Even though there were things I didn’t like, I was really sucked into it.
