I just finished this magnificent piece of work. I read it in two days because I could not put it down. The book is about a boy who suffers brain damage from a near drowning incident and about the man he becomes. There is so much action in this story, along with humor, sadness, anger and a lot of suspense. I savored each word as the plot thickened and took twists and turns. The book exposes the challenges someone with special needs goes through in society-how cruel and how kind some people can be. This book will remain with me for a very long time and I’m so glad!
