it was amazing

5 out of 5 stars! ⭐️ “And Then There Were None” is one of the greatest masterpiece novels by none other than the queen of mystery- Agatha Christie. The special thing about this murder mystery is that we don’t actually have a detective narrator - which switches things up a bit and makes it really exciting to read. 😊📚

So here’s what the book basically is about without giving away anything. So, it’s a mystery without a detective, no Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple to make sense of things — just 10 people trapped on an island, being murdered one by one per the instructions of a macabre nursery rhyme.

Christie's skill as a storyteller is so great that with each read you still get drawn to the characters and never quite catch sight of the stagehand. You should definitel read it and give Agatha Christie's expressionist masterpiece the admiration that it deserves.

”But no artist, I now realize, can be satisfied with art alone. There is a natural craving for recognition which cannot be gain-said.” - Agatha Christie, ’And Then There Were None’
