it was amazing

Monty is a woman who has hit a stage in life that is both frightening and thrilling. She's trying to rediscover herself as she navigates a divorce, a teenage daughter, and a new, exciting opportunity for work... writing about a band that she loved as a teen. The scenes with the band, on and off stage, give us a great glimpse into the life of musicians on the road, and sometimes I could hear the music in my head. This is a fun, breezy read from Leslie Tall Manning. The story made me laugh and tugged at my heart too, because... as a 40-something woman, I can totally identify with Monty! While many of the character's problems are not mine, I understand where she was in life, and I felt emotional as Monty discovered there are times when we MUST make the big, tough decisions and be okay with change.
